Labor Day Fuel Survey

The Puget Sound Fuel Survey for the Labor Day Weekend is out (below). As always, we try to be as accurate as possible. We use multiple sources to gather prices, including talking directly with fuel docks, gathering published prices on their websites, and the free Fuel Docks app (link at bottom). But the best source is you! If you see a different price at the pump, please let us know. We'll make corrections and repost the survey. Please remember prices can change at any time, so we always recommend calling ahead to confirm the price of fuel before you arrive.

Compared to mid-August prices, the average cost per gallon for gas again held steady across Puget Sound at $5.69/gal. Seven fuel docks are still $5.00 or less per gallon, with Point Roberts and  Des Moines still leading the pack at $4.46 and $4.65/gal. Almost every fuel dock pumps non-ethanol, with asteriks denoting those with E-10.

Diesel again went down a bit on average, this time by 0.04 cents The new average is $5.37/gallon. Fifteen fuel docks are still under $5.00/gal. Oak Harbor is the lowest in the region at $4.41/gal, with Des Moines in second at $4.71/gal.

As always,
