The Boat Geeks #47 - Meg Anthony, DO, Liveaboard Sailor
Living aboard their 1941 Argentinian-built motorsailer, Dr. Meg is prepping for cruising while offering healthcare advocacy and coordination, as well as health and nutrition counseling.
Recorded aboard their floating studio in Port Townsend, WA, in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, Daeron and Darren take a deep dive into the world of boating.
This episode: The Boat Geeks meet Dr. Meg Anthony, who with wife Valerie is currently anchored in nearby Port Hadlock. Dr. Meg, a clinical physician, left the industrialized world of healthcare to pursue not only her own better health, but to help others as well. They bought their first boat, a well-kept 73-foot wood boat, less than a year ago and have lived aboard since. Her journey from med school to residency to nomadic sailor is an inspiring story!
