Axel has been sleeping in her v-berth cabin since she was two years old. Now that she's in high school, we decided to replace the old high-density foam cushion with a custom mattress from Slumber Ease Mattress Factory in Marysville, WA.
This is the full process from the very beginning, including getting fitted for the perfect mattress at Slumber Ease (very important!), making the v-berth pattern, culminating with the building of the mattresses, installing them on the boat, and sleep testing by the teenager!
